I cannot recommend Debra Fahey highly enough as a tutor. She began working with my son in September 2024 when he was 11 years old and struggling significantly with math, a challenge he’d faced for the past couple of years. Within just a few weeks of her patient, kind, and skillful tutoring, his math grade improved to an A—an incredible turnaround! Seeing his progress, we increased his sessions to twice a week and expanded her support to cover all subjects. Since then, his grades and comprehension across the board have improved considerably. Debra has a remarkable ability to connect with my son, breaking down complex concepts in a way that clicks for him. Her patience and dedication have not only boosted his academic performance but also his confidence. She’s truly exceptional!

Before coming to see Debra, my daughter was battling with school, she had developed a negative feeling towards schoolwork in general and had lost her motivation to do well. Thanks to our tutoring sessions with Debra that has all changed and my daughter is confident and thriving again. Debra is so positive, patient and kind. She is always so motivating, and my daughter looks forward to her tutoring sessions. She takes the time to figure out where the gaps are so that she can focus on what is needed. S2S was an amazing support when my high school student was in a very stressful situation.  Ms. Debbie advocated for my child and what we needed to feel comfortable moving forward and insure a healthy supported educational environment.

When the county schools gives little guidance as to how to help your child get the support they need in the classroom -- Ms. Deb is a rare find in our community. We have been tutoring with Deb for 2 years and her knowledge has been invaluable. My middle and elementary children find her home comforting and supportive. Deb is knowledgeable in all subjects. She knows how to help parents monitor school work and
brings up grades from F's to A's. She will also help advocate for your child's special needs by any means necessary whether it be by email or accompanying parents to create an individualized plan to help fill in the learning gaps your child may have that teachers will not provide insight on. Her personality is genuine, caring and intelligent. I feel like we've been friends for years and I trust her with my kids. My child does not come to her sessions like it's more school or dreading homework. My daughter is comfortable and will sit and learn for hours with all smiles.

We had a very positive experience with Ms. Fahey and team! My 17 year old son took the ACT the first time and did okay but I knew he could do better. He’s not big into studying solo so I knew he needed the 1:1 sessions. He met with Ms. Fahey and team for about 8 weeks, 2x/week to start and then more often as we got closer. She has a way with the kids, he always came back feeling confident and really enjoying their sessions. He did not complain once about going which was a really good sign for us. She was extremely communicative with me, providing updates on his progress, what they worked on, etc. I highly recommend working with her - she blew away my expectations!
