Coach Casey has a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and is passionate about teaching and cultivating the whole development of learners. Her diverse teaching background has given her a vast variety of tools that help her to meet the individual needs of learners while helping them succeed.

 

As a preschool teacher, Coach Casey created and implemented adaptable, inclusive curriculum in both a classroom and virtual setting. She also has experience as a virtual ESL teacher, a virtual private tutor, and a children's pastor. Additionally, Coach Casey has 10 years experience homeschooling grades K-9 in all subjects.   

 

Coach Casey's philosophy on teaching is to take a teacher- and learner-led approach. With a clear plan and focused direction when teaching, she also intentionally observes the engagement and interest of the learner, following their lead and making adjustments as necessary. She believes that when learning is fun and following the interest of the learner, the entire learning experience becomes more memorable and more connections are made.
